Teams in late development

In late development, maybe 3-5 years before planned launch, many companies find themselves needing to engage with the early adopters in their chosen therapeutic area.

Case study 1
“I am completely new to this area. I have assumed global responsibility for this product, but I have no idea on who’s who; or where togo; or who I should speak to; or what’s really happening in this area.”

Case study 2
“We are about three years away from launch. We know we need to engage with patient groups in this area – they will be important voices when we launch; today, we have no relationship with them.”

Case study 3
“We have had the only approved treatment for this condition for the past seven years. In the next three, we know of four new products that will be launched. We need to be sure that we have a clear and unbiased view of the therapeutic condition – complacency is one of our biggest threats.”

In late development, maybe 3-5 years before planned launch, many companies find themselves needing to engage with the early adopters in their chosen therapeutic area. Their counsel, engagement, and support in raising awareness of the condition, and understanding of emerging technologies is a critical launch preparation activity.

However, many teams find themselves lost to know who to talk to, about what matter, and in what forum.

Our work helps those who wish to have a drone-like view of their therapeutic landscape before they dive right in and get involved in tactics.

Importantly they want to understand how different people, groups, and bodies interact, and therefore how influential they might be.

That’s why we have developed an online platform called Thecosystems – it is a curated view of a single therapeutic ecosystem. It contains the movers and shakers: those holding positions of authority and influence in a therapeutic area, and those whose opinions regulators and policymakers consult.
