ABOUT US

B CORP

Business as a force for good...

We are passionate members of the B Corp community. We believe:

  • That we must be the change we seek in the world.
  • That all business should be conducted as if people and place mattered.
  • That, through their products, practices, and profits, businesses should aspire to do no harm and benefit all.
  • That to do all the above requires us to act with the understanding that we are each dependent upon one another and responsible for each other and future generations.

What does this mean for you?
It means you can be sure you are working with a company that genuinely cares about you. Not only that, we care equally as well for all our people, the communities we operate in, and the environment.

PURPOSE

Our hedgehog

In his book, Good to Great, Jim Collins concludes it is strategically better for a business to be very good at one clear thing, rather than trying to do many things (he called it the Hedgehog Concept).

At MMRG, we are passionate about playing a part in bringing healthcare innovations to fruition that improve the lives of people around the world. Importantly, we believe we can be the best in the world at stakeholder research and deliver it in a way that makes economic sense to our clients.

EXPERTISE

Our thinking

We are unapologetically progressive in our business thinking and actions. We challenge (constructively). We like to learn. And we like to share learning.

The thinking in Everett M. Rogers’ 1962 seminal research on the “Diffusion of Innovations” sits at the very heart of our strategic approach to stakeholder research and mapping.

Everything we do is geared around this approach; helping our clients identify and engage with the people who really do matter.

FAQs

We are happy to answer any questions you may have about what we do; how we do it; how we deliver our work; or even what it costs to gain access. If you don't find the answer to your question here, please let us know.

What do you mean by stakeholder mapping?

We know from 30+ years’ experience that at a global, continental, and national level there is a tight knit community of passionate people at the heart of every therapeutic condition. Not only a multi-disciplinary team of healthcare professionals, but also specialist economists and patient representatives.

When we talk about stakeholder mapping, we focus on identifying who is in this community, and within that, who are the subject matter experts, early adopters, and digital influencers.

How do you go about identifying these stakeholders?

We work only with public domain data – but we are fussy!

We look for signals (breadcrumbs) of evidence of expertise, recognition, passion for the therapeutic condition they’re working in. Few physicians, HCPs, and patient representatives, invest their personal time in writing academic papers; educating and speaking at scientific and medical congresses; volunteering for roles within their professional societies; or donating their free time to work with charitable organisations. It’s these people who over time become respected and recognised voices in their therapeutic communities – they are savants, contextually intelligent, and wise people whose judgement about a therapeutic condition is priceless.

How do you work?

There are two ways in which companies choose to work with us:

Consulting

Some companies come to us because they have a specific issue (usually a problem) they are seeking to resolve. We sit down with them and seek to understand the need – precisely. We then design an approach that we believe will address the problem, and once agreed, set off to complete the required research.

Thecosystems

Some companies want to have an up-to-date understanding of who’s who; what’s what; and where medical conversations are being held.

Our Thecosystems Platform, available on subscription, helps them get to the heart of the therapeutic condition quickly.
